On Aug. 19th, 2009, the third meeting of the first session of the board of directors was held and hosted by Xu Wei, vice president of the company, and Yao Zimin delivered an important speech, who is the secretary of Municipal Standing Committee and the Party Working Committee of Caofeidian New Area, dean of Management Committee, and concurrently the secretary of  Tanghai County Committee as well as chairman of Caofeidian Holding Co., Ltd. Present the meeting were Dong Xiaobing, deputy dean of the SASAC, Liu Ximing, director and concurrently administrative assistant general manager of Caofeidian Holding Co., Ltd., Li Wenxiu, director of Caofeidian Holding Co., Ltd., and Zhao Yuqiao, director of Jiujiang Wire Material Co., Ltd. of Tangshan Great Wall Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. Xu Wei was voted to be chairman of Caofeidian Holding Co., Ltd.

The meeting concluded that with the daily improvement of Caofeidian infrastructures, breakthroughs in port constructions, and accelerated industry clusters, Caofeidian had become a major bright point for advancing the scientific development of Hebei in the new era. As the construction of Caofeidian International Ecological City is the key project leaders of the city or province levels highlighted, joint efforts should be made to create the city into the future city, innovation city, eco-city, and happiness city. We were required to adhere to scientific development, collect human resources, strengthen management, unify thoughts, and achieve high efficiency, and accelerate various project constructions and project library buildings. We should take responsibilities to our shareholders and turn in a satisfactory answer paper to the municipal government.
